How to record vocals at home?

I know this is a bit absurd but I’m really curious. I found this amazing beat online and want to create this beautiful body of art but I don’t know how to really. Like, what type of a room do I need for it? Or which mic for beginners, the best DAW, maybe a tutorial? I need some help you guys. My mind is all over the place right now.
