Getting full 8K on Samsung Neo G9 57” from MacBook Air M4

Has anyone had any success getting the full 7680 by 2160 resolution over a single Thunderbolt > DP/HDMI cable from a MacBook Air 2014 on the 57” Samsung Neo G9? I’m able to drive it as two 4K monitors with two cables, but when I try a single Thunderbolt > HDMI 2.1 cable, it does not provide the native resolution, only 5K max.

I’d love to drive it with a single cable if possible.
