How long due unsolicited op-ed responses take to get back to you? Does longer time frame (see below) usually indicate no? Additionally had anyone submitted to one of the Catholic publications (NCR, America mag, etc.)--what was it like?

The website says generally that they get back to you within two weeks but it's been 8 days now and no response. Is this probably a bad sign?

ANd specifically im trying to submit something to a Catholic publication? How hard is the response?
