On Streamlined Progression

I understand many have put in the grueling hours and immense skill to obtain the Rebirth Platinum before Streamlined Progression came out. And for the few that did - impressive job. It's not an easy platinum to get.

However.

Someone else's unique experience with Rebirth doesn't devalue your own achievements or experience.

It isn't about making the game "too easy", and it doesn't lessen the significance of obtaining the Platinum. It still takes significant time and dedication to complete every single objective in the game, regardless of how they're completed.

This is about making the games enjoyable and approachable to each and every person who want to play them. Period.

We all should want the remakes to be played and loved by as many people as possible. Seeing that platinum percentage going up means more people are enjoying Rebirth to the absolute max, and that's a good thing!

*Everyone* should have the same opportunity to enjoy these games to the fullest in the manner of their choosing, without judgement, scorn, or elitism from the community.
