Need some help for battlefront 2 (classic, 2005)

Just bought the game today and love it
HOWEVER!! Like 1/3 of me playing game
I get black screen but it still running

For example, if I choosing a class, it works fine but when I try to chose different class that i believe I can’t purchase and just black screen

But worst is the ship level where after few seconds in space, it black screen

What setting can I lower or do so I can play the game smooth
