awardspring scholarship won't go away?

hi! Just wondering if there's any way to make an "item to complete" go away?AwardSpring gave me an at-risk one, and when doing it, I realized I don't really align with the intended recipient of this scholarship. I don't know if I can get any other scholarships on the dashboard, as it says, "Explore the task section to the right to unlock more opportunities," and for some reason, I cannot submit the application.
