Note that the placement of each game is relative to each other.I like all of the games and the lowest ranked ones are still for me probably soled 7/10 or so games

\-Yakuza 0

i know im not being original at all but 0 is considered the best for a good reason.Great combat,a great story and characters and some of the best side content ever.Not much else to say

\-Yakuza kiwami

 great game but despite not having played og y1 i can tell kiwami isnt a great remake and suffers from some issues like every boss moveset being reused from elsewhere.But the core of yakuza 1 is very good and is enough to make kiwami a quite good game

\-yakuza kiwami 2

just take my thoughts for kiwami 1 and take them to the extreme.i think its an even worse remake to y2 than k1 is to y1 but i love the core really muc and ryuji is definetely obe pf y favourite villains xo it land quite high up

\-yakuza 3

my opinions on 3 are quite [mixed.it](http://mixed.it) feels like everything 3 does will be the best of the franchise or the worst of the franchise with very litle in between.i dont dislike yakuza 3 but its definetely my least favourite mainline game

\-yakuza 4

very revolutionary game introducing multiple playable characters and being the debut of some of my favourite characters in the series like akiyama or tanimura.Also imo overall it is the  best game in the series in terms of substories with none of them being bad and a lot being quite good.i think 4 has the most forgettable story in the series but it definetely isnt the worst 

\-yakuza 5

5 is a weird game.The story is an absolute mess and from part to part(or sometimes scene to scene)the game will go from the peak of the series to the literal bottom barrel of the series.same goes for the side content some being great and some not so [much.in](http://much.in) general the game was way too ambitious and on some places that helped while in others it hurt

\-yakuza 6

6 isnt great in terms of combat and side content.But it by far has my favourite story in the series.i truly believe that if 6 was either in the kiwami engine or came later in the dragon engine it would be the best game in the series

\-yakuza 7

very good.ichiban was honestly a breath of fresh air which wasnt vital for the series but it absolutely helped.The rpg gameplay isnt great yet but its good enough and the game has one of the best stories along 0 and 6 andquite good side content

\-gaiden

my least favorite game in the series.fits a food game but frankly i dont think its worth full price.The combat isnt bad but i just didnt really get into that.Also this game has the worst overall substories by far.Only a couple are decent and the rest of them are either complete nothing or worse versions of substories from previous games
