Legal repercussions of Snapchat messages

Someone randomly added me on Snapchat today. This person had the same name as someone I went to school with and I assumed it was her, but after a couple messages, I realized this person might have been a minor.

The conversation did not get sexually explicit, no photos were sent or received or asked for. I literally asked her if we had met, she said no, and I asked where she lived. She told me she didn’t tell that to strangers and I realized she was likely underage after that and blocked her.

What charges should I expect to face and how long will it take for me to hear from the police about this? It has been seriously making me sick and I really never would have engaged if I knew from the getgo that she wasn’t an adult.
