manitowoc bin door

The plastic hinge mount on my Manitowoc Indigo NXT water curtain broke and the pivot bushing pulled out.

Unfortunately, the broken plastic pieces are missing, so I cannot simply glue it back together.

A new OEM water curtain assembly costs over $400.

Has anyone successfully repaired something like this using stainless steel brackets, fabricated hinge mounts, or other reinforcement methods?
