10,000 Shares!

I’m looking to retire in the next year or two. My goal is 15k shares of SCHD and 10k shares of SCHY, balanced with a few thousand shares of QQQI and SPYI each.

Hoping the higher dividend yields from the “I” funds carry me while I wait for SCHD and SCHY dividends to grow.

I sleep a lot better pulling dividends from solid companies vs selling VOO shares at the market top. I also don’t trust bonds given all the shenanigans happening with debt and government right now.
