I'm a big fan of the game Control and its universe, and since the sequel (Control Resonant) is being released this year, I was curious to do a powerscale comparison between the universes of SS and Control. And I think it will be interesting.

Well, starting with one that should be unknown to most of you: **The Hiss**.

It is an powerful paranormal and extradimensional entity based on resonance. Basically, it's made of sound and vibration alone, appearing as a red pattern in the minds of those who hear it (**image** **3**).

It is a malevolent and virulent creature that spreads throughout the world through sound. And it is said in the game that, if it managed to escape the Oldest House (a paranormal location where the game takes place and where The Hiss is contained), it would spread throughout the world and generate the apocalypse.

This creature can:

* Infect all beings who hear it, manipulating their minds and emotions;
* take full control of these beings almost instantly after the infection, possessing them (once subjugated by The Hiss, they will forever be its thralls - **image** **4** & **5**);
* transform, physically enhance, and grant paranormal powers to the possessed (**image** **6** & **7**);
* heal the possessed with its resonance and use them as signal transmitters;
* interfere with and corrupt the very laws of reality with its resonance.

In short: it's an Asterion on steroids, now more eerie and made of pure sound.

Okay, now that you know The Hiss's capabilities (and presumably you're also familiar with the Divine Trio's full capabilities, so I don't need to list them here):

Let's say The Hiss is unleashed in the middle of a great citadel in the dream realm, and only the Trio and the members of their domains can participate in the battle (without Cassie or Ananke's assistance). Who do you think would win?

>!^(...now that I think about it, the powers of Hiss would be extremely interesting in an Aspect; an Aspect based on resonance and sound. Hmmm...)!<

The Divine Trio vs. The Hiss (Control). Who wins?
