So tired. Vent
Is it unreasonable to expect my work from home spouse to help during the most exhausting time of year? It's an extra mental load to ask for help. I have a long commute and overstimulating and frustrating job at at a school my kids attend. I am so exhausted and in pain by the time I get home. But wait there's dinner and activities and evening routines. My kids help with simple meals but it's the grown ups responsibility to provide meals most nights. I'm starting to resent my spouse for having a higher paying work from home job. When I feel recharged, I plan, get groceries and cook ahead. I set expectations with spouse and ask for help..but here we are mid week and I'm drained and spouse is just bopping around going to the gym after work living it up.
