PhD math expectations

Hi there, I've applied for a position pursuing a PhD in math at KTH. I am coming from an American university (not extremely prestigious), and am curious what the experience and expectations are. From what I've read on official sites, it doesn't state much about upper level courses (if they're exam based), and whether there is some qual exam either. Thank you very much.
