AirPods 4 (no ANC)

Hello everyone,

I purchased the AirPods 4 today, and the sound quality is quite disappointing, just bad for what it is.
I’m not sure how to describe it, but I think it lacks clarity and it has too much bass.
Have I received a faulty unit?

I tried the headphones accommodations trick, but it didn’t seem to work.

I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 26.5.
