Here is a summary of the announcement regarding The Elder Scrolls Online on PC Game Pass:

* The Elder Scrolls Online is now officially available to download through PC Game Pass via the Microsoft Store or Xbox PC App.
* This version is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere library, allowing gameplay across PCs, laptops, and optimized handheld devices like the ROG Ally.
* Players using this version will play exclusively on the Xbox realms (North America or Europe) rather than standard PC servers.
* Cross-progression is supported for players using the same Xbox account, allowing them to carry over existing Xbox characters and progress.
* Any purchases, including Crowns and add-ons, must be made through the Xbox account to apply to this version of the game.
* Account data and characters from other PC storefronts, such as Steam, Epic Games Store, or the official ESO Store, cannot be transferred or merged with this Xbox-based version.
* The game features a locked Gamepad UI but fully supports both controller and keyboard/mouse control schemes, which can be toggled at will.
* Traditional PC file side-loading or external add-on managers are not permitted; instead, players must use the in-game BNET Mod browser for add-on support.
* In-game voice chat is fully supported.
* Players who do not have an active Game Pass subscription can still purchase this version of the game directly from the Microsoft Store or Xbox PC App.
