Saw this screenshot in a lot of subs today and it’s probably an engagement bait but I feel like it can be an actual untold story for someone like if we exclude the marriage part (even though I had some sort of these stupid ideas when I was in middle school)I completely get her
Well I’m not going to disrespect my own nation and country out loud like the way she did but I can relate to this like fr, and please don’t misunderstand this as belittling syria or syrians
I’ve never actually had any syrian friends like my parents have some but every time I try to get along with them it never works out so I kinda developed a negative impression OF ALL SYRIANS + I’ve never seen any of my relatives I only call them on Eids I can’t even remember their names
On top of all that Syria’s current situation isn’t the best and I’m not going into that we all know how things are going :)
But at the end of the day I’ll never be a Saudi no matter what even if I lived 100 years in that country my syrian passport will always be there to remind me of the reality that I’m refusing to accept like I will never belong here nor there and it’s an actual serious problem to me that I think no one will ever get

I even wrote this in english cause it feels weird to write in syrian dialect….
