Arena elemental ban

How does the banned element work? I can't choose any dragon that have electricity yet the other team has draons with that element. I can't see any of my dragons that have electricity even if their main element is something else so howcome the enemy can use it? I am new to this game so it is probably very obvious but what am I missing?

Here is my current arena
