Why are some tickets on resale sites 10x more than other tickets in the same section?

Let’s say I’m looking at tickets to a game on StubHub, and in a certain section there are dozens of options for $50 per ticket.

Inevitably there will be at least 1 seller offering tickets in the same section for $500. A complete outlier. In most of these cases the tickets going for $500 are identical to the ones for $50.

Why would anyone post tickets for $500 when the market price is clearly $50? Are they hoping someone will buy them by mistake? Is it some kind of fraud scheme?
