I see more than I care to admit

I know that beyond the sheer state of survival you exist in there is more depth and dimension to you as a person than what shows.

However, I doubt that you will ever reach a place where you allow yourself the level of vulnerability required to explore those aspects of yourself.

And that exactly is the problem I have with a person like you. You come across as arrogant and materialistic even if what you really want is stability and security.

You minimize your humanity to cope with it and that makes you an unsafe and unreliable person to love romantically. Why would I want my humanity minimized too?

If you cannot hold space for yourself , you can’t do so for anybody else. If you cannot feel contentment for your own achievements then you won’t for someone else.

You’re a cynic who thinks they’re a realist and you’re a little too close to bitter.

Show me your gentleness, reveal your humanity because as it is now….

I like you a lot more when you’re under the influence of something other than your pain…
