Helppp! how do I tell a friend that I like them without compromising the friendship dynamic?
I F23 met my friend M22 on a dating app. We went out on a few dates and it was fun but nothing physical happened. So we decided to stay friends. Then eventually he proposed a FWB situation because for some reason there was a lot of sexual tension, and since I did not have anything else going on either, I agreed.
Well that was idiotic because I have ended up catching feelings which is not convenient. I thought the feelings would pass but that doesn't seem to be happening. I don't know if my friend has developed romantic feelings too or not. Sometimes I think he has, sometimes not at all; but it's literally eating me alive atp.
I'm constantly obsessing over it, wondering if he's seeing other people etc and it's frankly ruining my life. I thought the only way to stop feeling this way was to get confirmation of exactly how he feels. However, I also don't want to jeopardize the friendship. If that's possible at all. Idk
If he doesn't feel that way and he realises that I do then he might distance or cut himself off and I would lose a genuinely good friend and someone I enjoy spending time with. I really don't know how to approach it. How he may feel or what to say. I would love some advice, suggestions and stuff!
(Sorry for the rant!)
