What's your unpopular opinion on The Young and The Restless?

I have two:

Victoria hasn't been interested since the early 2000s in my opinion. It feels like the fire got sucked out of her.
She used to have the bite, attitude, and had actual presence, and then they made her into a softspoken robot who does the same sh*tty storyline every year. I know Amelia Heinle played the role longer, but I never ever got used to her as Victoria. But the recast was so drastic it felt like they rewrote her whole personality overnight, and she never bounced back from it.

The writing treats Genoa City like it’s three rooms and a hallway. I’m watching it and said it feels so tiny now. Like the same sets, same conversations, same circles. No world‑building, and just no texture. And Sharon being at Crimson Lights all the damn time.
