Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out if my account billing is bugged or if I'm completely misunderstanding GitHub's AI pricing right now. I've attached two screenshots of my billing page.

Here is the context:

Back in March (see 2nd pic), I got billed around $338. I actually accepted this because I was heavily using the most expensive premium models (basically the "30x cost" tier).

Over the last few months (April, May), I scaled down to the mid-tier models ("15x cost") and my bills stabilized at around $110 per month. Everything was fine.

The Problem:

Now look at June. The first screenshot shows my usage from June 1st to June 3rd. I consciously switched to using the cheapest basic models available ("1x cost"). Yet, in just 3 days, my billed amount is already at $113 (with a gross amount of $184)!

How is it possible to spend my entire monthly budget in exactly 3 days using the cheapest model, when the mid-tier model lasted a whole month for the exact same price?

Has anyone else experienced this rapid credit drain recently? Is this a known billing bug with the new "Copilot AI Credits"? I feel like something is calculating completely wrong. Thanks for any insights!

Insane GitHub AI / Copilot billing in just 3 days? Switched to the cheapest model but already reached my monthly cost. Bug?
