The Little Sheriff

Eri adjusted the brim of her hat to shadow her face, boots planted themselves on the dry earth as dust gently swirled around. She stared down the figure in front of her as her fingers brushed her holster resting on her hip.

The figure was a blonde girl, horns decorated the top of her head, wide blue eyes narrowed and also wearing a western outfit with her hand right by her holster as well. The scene looked straight out of a western movie, one sheriff and one outlaw facing each other down.

“This town ain’t big enough for the two of us..” Eri said low and gruffly or at least gruffly as she could. Her eyes narrowed even further as she chewed on a toothpick.

“Suppose yer right..” Came the drawling voice of Pony who narrowed her own eyes further, “Reckon it’s time ta put you in yer place..” she cracked her neck to the side, her fingers twitching near her holster.

“Bring it *on..*” Came out the gruff reply of Eri who still kept up her sheriff persona, her fingers also twitching near her holster.

A tumbleweed drifted between the two, their stares piercing the other as more dust swirled around. Eri squinted her eyes, a bead of sweat rolling down her cheek as her fingers twitched near her holster as she prepared to draw. Pony was the same, eyes narrowed and fingers twitching by her holster as she also prepared to draw.

For a while, both of them just stood there until..

*GONG*

Eri immediately drew while Pony was a second too late, a foam bullet hitting the blonde girl square in the head. Pony flopped down on the floor while the young girl blew the tip of her “gun”.

*Meanwhile*

The rest of 1B were watching both the young girl and their classmate playing around in the main area of the dorms.

It’s been a while since I last wrote a prompt, college been keeping me busy so I hope I did alright with this. There wasn’t enough of 1B in canon so I wanted to make this prompt with them babysitting Eri. Let me know what you think.
