A friend stole my creative idea. Has this happened to you?

I recently shared a project idea with a close friend, thinking I could trust them. To my shock, they ended up launching it themselves before I could even get started. I just feel really demoralized and disappointed. Has anyone here ever had a creative idea or project stolen by someone they trusted? How did you handle the frustration and move past it?
