Got a parrot yesterday, its very much confusing me

I got a green cheek yesterday (ive done a lot of research) and shes a very confusing bird to me. Shes very social but also very mean and im not understanding. I assume you know she needs time to get used to the area, but she likes being around me, but also bites me constantly when i move at ALL. Its like pick a damn side do u wanna be near me or not. Im mostly scared im gonna do something to fuck it up and make her hate me. Like yestersay she was sitting on my glasses and bite my forehead really hard, and it scared me and i moved my hand over and pushed her off (not her whole body just her head) and it made her REALLY MAD. I didnt mean to do it, it just scared me rly bad. Im hoping she stops being so mean as she gets to know me. Shes trying to climb on me today but im trying to avoid her for now to let her get used to the environment without me being involved, but idk if thats the right choice. Shes 9 months old if that is relevant in any way.
