First time buying Help with advice

Hey, I’m trying to buy my first electric scooter mainly for commuting (around 5–6 km trips, mostly cycle paths).

I’ve narrowed it down to a few options but I honestly can’t decide what’s worth it.

Used 5TH Wheel V30 Pro – $200 (was $250, negotiated)

Seller says:

~95% battery health

under 100 charge cycles

throttle was replaced

taillight replaced

turn signals not connected

everything else works

I can test ride it before buying

My concern is just it’s been repaired and I don’t know the full history.

New 5TH Wheel V30 Pro – $280 + tax

brand new sealed box

10” solid tires

350W motor

~30 km/h top speed

app + cruise control

Only issue is it’s a bit above my budget.

Gyrocopters FlashX – $240 + tax refurb / ~$300 new

8.5” solid tires

350W motor

I actually like the design a lot

But I’m not sure if the smaller tires make it rough or if it’s still fine for daily riding.

I’ll mostly be riding bike paths, not really rough roads.

I guess I’m stuck between:

saving money

or getting something I actually like

or going new vs used

What should I do in this situation?
