My apartment's management is not helping my yellowjacket problem

Ive been seeing multiple yellow jackets in my living room since may 18. They sent a contractor to spray the perimeter may 19 but he never found a nest and the wasps have continued to fly around every single day. I notice 1-7 a day (weather dependant) and was told by the assistant manager that i had to wait until the sam guy comes back to do the follow up which was a week away. She also said theres nothing she can do and that i just have to wait. They keep calling them bees and on site maintenance is not familiar with yellow jackets. Ive been told to keep my sliding glass door closed both by maintenance and that one pest control guy to prevent them from entering.
When i spoke to this management lady and brought up that i have asthma and allergies where my throat can close up she responded by saying she understands and that she has asthma too. I felt completely shut down in the most passive way. She also doesnt care that i have 2 young children or a cat that is living in this mess as well. My doctor prescribed me an epi pen and i have a note confirming that i have allergic asthma and that wasps are known to have hospitalized people with asthma. I called the health department so hopefully they can help me. This feels illegal. Its weird that no one who works at my apartment knows what yellowjackets are. I have a feeling their designated pest guy will fail to treat the issue again and i will have further delays.
Am i over reacting? Flying wasps appearing in my living room every day for weeks is dangerous, right? How bad is this? What do i do?
