Idk what to do

Me and my brother agreed to buy the game with us both pitching in, after seeing it is compatible with our console (xbox one series s) my brother bought the premium edition of the game on his account 4 days before it came out, so it was bought on one accout, and with all the other games weve bought like this, it would give the game to both accounts on the console, so i figured, if it is bought on my brothers account, it will go to mine too. It didnt, i had to wait until the 19th to get the game and now that the game has come out it is suddenly not compatible with my xbox and made my xbox crash several times and more strange stuff befor the game finally loaded on my brothers account, then after a while of him playing, i checked on my account and had nothing, no early access, no preorder, nothing, i have struggled with the ai on xbox's website and still cant find out what is going on, would anyone be willing to take their time to explain what is going on of anyone can?
