Will Clio help?
I’m a fairly new paralegal working for a solo estate planning attorney in private practice, and I’ve been looking for ways to streamline some of our processes.
One issue I’ve noticed is that when clients leave information off their intake forms, I often end up in long email chains trying to gather the missing details. Later, when I need to find a specific piece of information, I sometimes have to dig through 50+ emails to locate it.
I’ve been wondering whether Clio might help organize client communications and client intake information. My attorney recently hired a secretary to assist with scheduling, client follow-ups, and keeping matters moving forward, so I’m also curious how Clio fits into that workflow.
For those who use Clio in an estate planning practice:
• Has it helped reduce email clutter and improve client intake/document collection?
• Does it make tracking client information easier?
• How steep is the learning curve for attorneys who are comfortable with basic technology but aren’t especially tech-savvy?
• Did it improve efficiency enough to justify the cost?
Help!!!!
