ID check for Woolies team member by BWS

I work in online at Woolies. I was doing an express order at BWS, and a staff member there I don't know asked for my physical photo ID. There was no way to carry my passport while working, so I had to get another older team member to finish the order. I've done heaps of alcohol orders before and this has never happened to me or most of the members in my team.

Do BWS staff get trained to card Woolies team members as well? We obviously don't put minors on alcohol orders, and no one ever told me I had to bring my ID to work.
