ATG REFUSED REFUNDS DURING NOR'ESTER FOR OUT OF STATE GUEST

Seating/Ticket Question

On February 12, 2026, I purchased two tickets to see Jack Wolfe in Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the February 22, 2026 performance at 3:00 PM. I live in New Orleans, and my plan was to fly to New York for the day and return home that same evening. The night before my trip, I received multiple weather alerts regarding a nor’easter forecast to reach New York City around midday on February 22. Because my travel was same-day with no hotel accommodations, I could not risk becoming stranded in the city. As a result, I was unable to attend the performance. I contacted the ticketing provider to request either (1) an exchange for the March 1, 2026 performance, or (2) a refund so that I could repurchase tickets for that date through another vendor. My flights for February 28–March 1 were already booked, and I was simply asking to attend the same production on a different date due to documented severe weather conditions. Despite the circumstances and the advance notice I provided, my request for an exchange or refund was denied and I was offered two tickets to a Hadestown show that plays on Tuesday, Wednesday and some Thursdays. However, Jack Wolfe and the first string actors last appearance was on March 1st. Their offer did not equal to the value of my tickets. Also note, they canceled all shows after the three o'clock show and gave refunds and in my first conversation with them on the phone, they said I could receive a refund or exchange my tickets.
