My duolingo completely broke, probably an update issue
Sorry if this is a repeat post.
I have been studying Italian on duolingo since december. I've been doing a lot every day and progressed at a decent pace. When hitting section 3 I noticed that around approximately module 24 it had gone back to basics such as learning phrases like "I am a man" or "I eat an apple". It did include more detailed information in the notes as opposed to simply a selection of some of the handful of phrases you had learned.
Anyway... after doing it for a while all the information got quite reptitive, so I used the skip feature to finish the module, to find that section 4 was basically the same.... and then I skipped this... This is when all hell broke loose. after skipping to the end of section 4, everything changed.
Section 3 was completely different to the one I had learned, Section 4, now showing as complete was vastly different... and now I am show as having a metric ton of modules I have learned with words and subjects I know absolutely nothing about... and my Flashcard Frenzy is limited to a handful of words such as "Hello", "Goodbye" and "Coffee"
I have genuinely no idea what to do... It feels pointless to continue as I appear to have skipped a metric ton of content that I have not learned. Is this a known issue, I read about people not having the update rolled out to them, and people who had just started learning being thrown straight into section 3 when the new content originally came out... But I cannot find anything on this.
Any recommendations. I had considered completely resetting my Italian progress and doing a jump to the start of section 3, but I don't even know if this will work....
Thanks in advance
