Samsung M71H 43" Mini LED vs Samsung M2EH 43" Mini LED vs Samsung QEF1 43" QLED vs TCL Q6CS 55" Mini LED vs Xiaomi S Mini LED 55" for bedroom binge watching?
I'm looking for a TV mainly for my bedroom and I'm completely confused after researching for weeks.
My viewing distance is around 6-7.5 feet:
- Around 7-7.5 ft when lying on my bed
- Around 6-6.5 ft when sitting up
Usage:
- Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV+
- Mostly binge watching series and movies
- Usually watch at night with dim lighting
- I care about picture quality, contrast, blacks and HDR
- I currently watch on a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ and Galaxy S23, so I don't want the TV to feel like a downgrade in image quality
Prices available to me:
- Samsung M2EH 43" Mini LED = ₹30,000
- Samsung QEF1 43" QLED = around ₹35k
- TCL P7L 50" QLED = ₹38,000
- TCL Q6CS 55" Mini LED = ₹38,990
- Samsung M71H 43" Mini LED = ₹42,500
- Xiaomi S Series 55" Mini LED = ₹46,000
- TCL C6K 55" Mini LED = ₹55,000
My biggest doubts:
-
Is 55" too big for a 6-7.5 ft viewing distance in a bedroom?
-
Most of my subscriptions are 1080p, not 4K. Will 1080p content look bad on a 55" TV from this distance?
-
Is the TCL Q6CS really the best value here?
-
Is the Samsung M71H worth paying more for despite being only 43"?
-
Between TCL Q6CS and Xiaomi S Mini LED, which one would you choose and why?
I'd especially love feedback from people who have actually used any of these models.
