if i picked solar flare is there a way to get chompzillafor free or do i need to grind gems?

i ask because i like chompzilla, i was unaware heroes are locked behind your options and pickede solar flare when given the option over spudow, and then i read that you needed to pick spudow to get chompzilla so is there any other way?
