Coke head Owner of the company I work for threw a bucket full of tools at me and it barely missed my head.

I’m an electrical apprentice for one of the highest rated businesses in the DFW metroplex. I’ve been an electrical apprentice for about two months now (276) hours) and the business owner has been having me do a lot of grunt labor for stuff that’s not even related to electrical jobs. Off the top of my head they have had me rake leaves at the shop mow yards for their other businesses property, weeded the grounds for their fire work business, etc.

Today I was weed-eding one of their fireworks dance today and the boss got mad at me because I was unfamiliar with how to use it. He then told me to start picking up trash and after about 10 minutes of me, picking up trash and putting it in the truck like he told me too he threw a bucket full of supplies at my head nearly missing me by half a foot to a foot.

Before getting into electrical work, I ran my own window tint business and built it to be one of the highest rated shops in the city. I know a thing or two about running a business and being a good boss and not only is my boss a bad guy. He is also incredibly greedy and overcharging customers even for electrical work standard. I’ve also heard from multiple people in the company that the owner has a coke problem.

I’m not satisfied working at this company and I’m trying to find a new company to work for any recommendations for me finding a better company that would fit my values more
