Danny is vile and Nia needs to get out NOW!

This guy is a piece of work. Nia seems like an absolute doll. She seems like a genuinely sweet and kind person. But Danny is very problematic. The fact that he has kept his wife pregnant for the past four years and now has moved her away from all of their friends, leaving her entirely dependent on him for support - financial and otherwise - is classic controlling behavior. I wasn’t fully convinced that he had a true drinking problem until I saw the clip of him tonight sneaking the White Claw. The fact that he gets so annoyed anytime he has to do something for any of their kids is just disgusting. I think that he would be completely happy if Nia was barefoot and pregnant for the rest of her life.

I do think that she is in total denial probs Ly feels trapped but is too scared to admit it because then what? She’s in her late 30s with 4 kids and no job. I hope that she realizes it sooner than later that she deserves a man who is kind and loving and supportive. No one ever really knows what really goes on in a marriage but I think we’ve seen enough to know that this is not a good situation. And my guess is that it’s worse behind closed doors.
