Advice on catching timid cat?

My cat recently escaped our new home (3 days ago) after only 2 weeks. She was an outdoor cat pre-move but had clearly not settled into the home yet and was hiding away the majority of the time. I know she is still near our home as I have seen her at night nearby (have been sitting outside a few hours a night). Whenever I get within ~10ft of her though she runs away into the bushes and I cannot find her until she emerges again. I want to bring her home but I have no idea how. I would also like some tips on keeping her safe in the meantime while she's out there - I have put some fish out for her but we have a lot of foxes around so I don't know if she will even get any of it. Advice is greatly appreciated.
