Didn't expect it to move this fast. This week alone 60 builders ran over a billion tokens through it. Zero ad spend, all word of mouth. The leaderboard above is real. Every number captured live, none self-reported.

Here's why I built it.

If you build with AI, you know the problem. You sit down with Claude Code, and in two hours you ship a real feature. Thousands of prompts, a million tokens, a working auth system. Then you close the terminal and it's gone. GitHub shows one green square for the most intense building you've ever done. LinkedIn wants you to write a post about it. Twitter buries it under a checkmark guy posting "agree?" over a Canva graphic.

The work eating the whole industry right now is the least visible work there is. And the metrics that are visible are buyable. CMU just published it (ICSE 2026): \~6 million fake stars across 18,617 GitHub repos, sold for as little as 3 cents each, with AI repos the most-faked legit category. WakaTime's API is writable, so the hours are editable too. Every number you'd put on a resume has a price list.

So I built [Promptbook](https://promptbook.gg/) as the opposite, and the rule is simple: the building is the post. You don't write anything. Install one command, then build exactly how you already build. Every session auto generates a card with tokens, prompts, time, lines, and model, and attributes it to your profile. Like Strava logging a run, except you don't even press start.

The thing people react to isn't the stats, it's that the data can't be faked. It's captured live mid-session. No editable log, no writable API. You can't self report a million token build. That's the whole point, and it's the thing every "verified founder" network gets wrong (their numbers are still typed in by hand).

Where it's at: 150 builders, 18.4B tokens tracked all-time, $20k of real compute this week. Code and prompts never leave your machine, only aggregate stats. Free forever for builders. The demand side pays, you never do.

Still very early and I'm shipping feature requests faster than I can keep up. If you want to check it out it's [promptbook.gg](https://promptbook.gg/), and I'd genuinely love feedback from people here. This community is the reason half of it exists.

Built a Strava for vibecoders. 1 billion tokens tracked last week!
