NG+7, Charmless, Demon Bell Chat

Will cut to the chase from the jump.

I've played 160+ hrs of this game, it's become my favourite of all the Soulsborne games and I've played and got the Platinum in them all + DLC (would doubt that's a flex in the subreddit, but just giving from background).

I've beat the game (obv) 7 times, beat all Gauntlets minus Mortal Journey. Including each Inner boss a few times in Reflections asides Gauntlets.

Since I never really played Charmless+Demon Bell, I thought I'd do the "hardest" run only last week (if you aren't counting Base Vitality).

I've hit a fuckin WALL at Demon of Hatred and Sword Saint!

I've beat Sword Saint hitless (?) with Charm (no Bell) - so I thought I'd smoke him, but just spent 20+ tries and his second phase is notorious as ever. Again, thought I knew it well enough, maybe I do, but damn! One mistake and you're done on this "mode".

And man, don't get me started on that Demon fight, I go in fully kitted out, 3 Tanto's, 3 Yashariku's Sugar, 5 Divine Confetti, and jumping Mortal Draw's. Played around 30+ times earlier this evening, got to final phase once, and completely forgot the whole moveset and just got iced. A few more hours over a series of days/evenings and I know I can do it, but it really does seem like a 6-8minute fight with absolutely not one foot placed wrong, not one mistake.

I know I'll come back and beat Sword Saint too, to sort of "see the game off" once and for all - really do feel like I've beaten everything minus maybe a BVCL run (fuck that - if anyones done that, let me know!) - and Mortal Journey, which, I'm scared to even start running. I feel if I do, I'll just be obsessed with it for days and weeks on end.

Anyways, just a lil anecdote for some folks down for a read.
