What’s up with server /barista jobs

TLDR - is anybody REALLY hiring baristas and/or servers in Reynoldstown/Cabbagetown/O4W/Inman Park areas?

Just what is says. Recently moved to Atlanta, Reynoldstown / Cabbagetown/o4w area, I have a few years experience as a barista and also as a server, I feel like my resume is decent and it’s just crickets when I apply. I honestly thought with so many restaurants and cafes I would have no trouble finding a job. What’s going on? Are people actually hiring or is it still like that Covid era bs - where businesses put out a sign and say online that they’re hiring but really they’re just trying to make do with the workers they have?
