Just A Funny Moment

So this afternoon, I was playing on Dam Battlegrounds via Xbox remote play since I'm at work.

I currently cannot figure out the game permissions for my headset to work with Game-chat or Xbox live parties. Some kind of disconnect between the laptop and the app.

So I saw a shredder on a catwalk and figured I could take it solo. I would ambush it with some explosive mines and then finish it in the thruster with my anvil I picked up or I had a few stacks of impact grenades. Good enough plan...except:

After I baited the shredder with a shot from long range, I ducked behind cover. Then the shredder took off in a different direction. A raider started jogging towards me and I wasn't looking to PVP and suspected he was the same. I jump from cover and face my helmet at the explosive mines on the deck. I start pointing with my gun and flashing my flashlight to signal his attention.

He must have saw the flashlight clicks and assumed I meant that I was cool. (Fair enough) He kept jogging even though I was clicking away and had a gun pointed at the deck. (I should have been scurrying to pick up the mines)

The funny part is when he gets closer I start emoting "NO" and he gets on comms and says "you're cool" or something to that effect. I then say into my mic that isn't working "No No No! Stay back!" And he sets off the mines, nearly killing both of us. He of course didn't hear this. My coworker rounds the corner to my room and asks if I'm alright. 😆
