RX 9070 XT or RTX 5070 Ti for my first PC build?

Hey everyone,

I’m putting together my first gaming PC and could use some help deciding on a GPU. I’m still pretty new to PC parts, so I’m trying to figure out whether the RX 9070 XT or the RTX 5070 Ti would be the better choice.

I’ll mostly be gaming at 1440p on a 240Hz monitor and play a mix of competitive games like Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Minecraft, along with some single-player games like Elden Ring. I may also do some light recording of gameplay in the future.

The RX 9070 XT is currently quite a bit cheaper where I am, but I’m wondering if the extra cost of the 5070 Ti is worth it for features like DLSS, ray tracing, and overall longevity.

Which card would you pick and why? I’d appreciate any advice since I’m still learning about PC hardware. Thanks!
