Diagnoses: HSD and Small Fiber Neuropathy

Not Fun Updates: Lyrica not yet working, trigger point injections absolute sucked and I feel miserable. I got roughly 20 pokes and cried (I’m usually okay about that if I can’t see the needle- this was a pain response)

Fun Updates: My neurologist is a wonderful human. She approved me for a handicapped placard and signed off on my workplace accommodations! Although treatment is still a work in progress, at least some major assistance measures have been taken in the meantime.

After four years of struggling, my diagnosis was achieved within a week with this doctor. Initial exam and EMG and Injections all within a week. I love her.
