Finally got my mature metal jailbird, alignment issues

Hi everyone,

I just got my Mature Metal Jailbird cage today and everything seems good other than I lose alignment. I am thinking of getting my cage shortened a little more to address this. Other than that, it seems to be a good fit.

Is this normal for people to have alignment issues with this cage, and if so, did getting it shortened help?

I appreciate any advice.
