Fitness when you have ADHD and hate exercise?

Question

I find exercise boring and sometimes painful. I can handle exercise that’s fairly mindless so I can listen to something in the background, but even then it’s not my favorite thing. Even trying to read about exercise can be boring, and I admit trying to force my way through some of the longer guides here is difficult for me. I have ADHD which probably contributes to this.

Judge me if you want, but if you’re going to make a comment then at least make it helpful as much as judgmental.

But I’ve gain a lot of weight since college and the pandemic, and only recently gotten on T. I’m pear shaped and pass waaaay less than I used to when I was skinnier. I also want to be more healthy.

I’m not looking to body build or anything, but exercise is a part of a healthy life that I need to figure out.

There’s so much material on exercise out there that it’s overwhelming and just makes my brain peace out. Also a ton of it is gendered and I don’t know what to apply to myself.

So, help? Recommendations for simple and mindless routines that are still geared toward masculinizing as an FTM? Tips for finding exercise less excruciating?*

*That aren’t just “just wait, get through the beginning and you’ll get into it!” it continues to suck throughout and distracting myself during it has been the best method I’ve been able to find so far. Continuously telling myself it will get better (as it does not) is just not sustainable for me. Even if it will ~eventually~ happen ADHD can make waiting worse than physical pain and I simply will not get there if “just wait” is all I have to go off of.
