So, this is a realm where gods go when they die and they're trapped here forever, and they all have different opinions and goals so they all fight each other like a 24/7 death match with different factions and alliances. This is such an interesting and unique concept because we could see so many awesome things from different mythologies. We could see all kinds of mythological monsters, gods from Egypt, the dead Greek gods, dead Norse and interact with them too. We could see Baulder after Kratos kills him, along with seeing Thor and Odin too, which could make some really interesting story directions and interactions! What if Zeus is the king of one of the factions in this afterlife of the gods? Also the jello cube is awesome lol.

As for weapons we could really get anything and it's impossible to predict because there's so many crazy god weapons in all of the different mythologies. I can't wait to see all of the different things the developers have come up with for us to play with and experience. This is gonna be such a fun side story that I'm sure will link up and branch into the main Kratos story.

I'm sure we'll get a Kratos in Egypt game one day and I'll definitely be looking forward to when that happens, but its now time for the real talk. So, a lot of people are upset about not playing as Kratos in this next game and also having Laufey as the main playable character. Yes she'll probably be as strong as Kratos and just as capable as him in combat, if not more so. I'd like to remind people that this is a fictional universe where gods with very little muscles on their bodies can be incredibly strong, defy gravity, use magic and take hits that'd at the very least cause internal bleeding, so Laufey being as strong and as capable as Kratos is not much of a stretch. Also her fighting style is more acrobatic and quicker then Kratos' and since it's the next game in the series they're gonna aant to ramp up the combat and make it more interesting with more mechanics and flasher visuals so she'll probably be more powerful then Kratos in combat compared to God of War Ragnarok when it comes to power scaling. So if we're looking at it purely in universe it makes total sense and already fits. It's not like we haven't seen powerful females in the God of War franchise. Yall remember when Freya beat and almost killed Kratos in God of War Ragnarok?

It always seems like the vast majority opinion leans heavily into a negative direction with things like this because it's human nature to want to express yourself if you're upset about something or a change from something you're used to. Just because people voice their opinions on something and they're louder than the other opinions doesn't mean the loudest opinion is the majority opinion. There's lots of people who don't mind that the next God of War playable character is gonna be a female and there's lots of people who like that fact too. Looking at one opinion always makes it seem like the majority, and there's lots of people who don't voice their opinions on topics so the real statistics could be wildly different if everyone had an opinion vote.

Lots of games that had male protagonists now have female protagonists, so it's not like this is anything new. This is gonna keep happening in every kind of media and franchise and I just cant be bothered to be angry or upset about it. When I was a teenager I'd buy into the hype and overwhelmingly negative wave of and angry opinion about this kinda stuff, but after a while and as I got older it just got exhausting and annoying to be annoyed about every change like this. I want to enjoy the franchises that I like and it's not worth it getting upset about these changes companies make because they almost never listen to their fans anyway lol. So, when I started clearing my head of other people's opinions and began not looking at things like this in anger and being a free thinker and thinking for myself and having my own opinions on things like this I started not caring about relatively small and insignificant things like replacing a male protagonist with a female protagonist. The story and gameplay is much more important then that. I started actually enjoying franchises, stories and entertainment again because being enclusive with things like this is better then not in the long run. Anger over stuff like this very rarely if at all changes anything and is just useless. Just enjoy what you want to enjoy. Don't like others form your opinions, stop and think if you even really care and if it's even important.

I'm also looking at this from the informational and human point of view of viewing the art of the work. Viewing the creative aspects and the acting, the writing, the voice acting, the actors as people themselves. Viewing the motion capture and the behind the scenes of projects like this helps you look at it from a clear viewpoint and remember that the people behind it are also humans. It's easy to just look at the characters and their actions but it's important to see the humans behind the work. The actors are just doing their jobs and are doing as they're instructed and directed, so if you still really want to be angry then be angry in the right direction. Too many actors have gotten crap over what they had zero direction or creative choice over.

My personal speculation on what we could see in this next God of War game as well as my other thoughts on this new game.
