I own a med spa in Chandler, and here's what our aestheticians tell every client: the first 24–48 hours matter most, keep it clean, skip actives (retinol, acids, vitamin C), no makeup that first day, and sun protection is non-negotiable in Arizona. You should always get some post-care product as a part of the service. Redness settling over a day or two is normal. Most "Must Buy" aftercare kits are optional in reality.
