Living on both a plot of land and the vehicle?

Important question.

I was told that sadly alot of local counties and towns have laws against say owning an acre of land and parking your van or bus or car or RV on it full time.

They require one to either build a house with septic or remove the wheels and axyls and turn RV into a house.

Please tell me all you can about this.
