All I ever see is 'what's it worth posts', is collecting not a thing these days or is the game just a money swindler.

Annoying me really, seeing a lot of 'just pulled this posts' followed by 'what's it worth?'. Does no one collect cards these days or has the game got to the point where everyone's first thought is value or sell.

I very much see pulls of basic cards whether Pokémon or Sports, worth no more than £5 but the immediate reaction is 'what's it worth?'.

Genuinely, is this the reason why prices of retail products skyrocket (especially in Pokémon). Everyone jumping on the band wagon thinking they can make good money?

For me, it's frustrating. Pokémon for example is a great love of mine but now the products are over priced, difficult to get a hold of. Resellers buying out the stock online and bumping prices up close to 100%.

Take me back to the days when you could buy an ETB from the Pokémon Centre for £50 and didn't have to sit in a virtual queue for 6 hours to be told stock has gone.
