Looking for a 90s movie, I watched home sick from school as a kid (in the mid to late 90s)

I vaguely remember this movie about a child who has HIV or AIDS and him and his friends are skateboarding (I think in the empty halls of their school) and he falls and scrapes his knee. His friends want to do a blood brothers type thing but he knows better and shuts it down.

When his diagnosis gets out the other children’s parents throw a hissy fit and don’t want him going to school with their kids. I specifically remember one mother scared that her kid might get aids from the toilet seat. That’s about all I remember though, hopefully you all can help. Or not, doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things
